James 4:8 says, "Draw near to God and He will draw near to you." God wants you to get to know more about what He has set aside for you by spending time with Him and through the experiences of others. Put in some more effort to improve your relationship with Him. You don't want to feel like you're just being used, so apply that same thought process to your relationship with Christ. Be blessed!
